Oct. 15 On Board at Sea

We had dinner with authors Ron Butcher, 90, and Veronica Bennett-Butcher, 85.
Ron's book "Been There, Done That: Through Treacherous Skies" tells among other topics about his air force work aboard WII bomber command raids over Germany.
Veronica's book "From Veronica With Love: From Waif to WAAF to Wife - A Story of Survival" tells about her difficult schooling in a convent in London and later about her role in the Air Force as a flight Mechanic on aircraft engines and as a drill instructor.  They met on the internet ten years ago.
