Bar Harbor is a town of about 5000 people, a famous summer colony. We took a bus tour through Acadia National Park. In spite of intermittent rain the scenery was beautiful. Then we had the mandatory lobster lunch to honor Maine's lobster industry.

My Dad's side of the family is from Maine so my eye first went to Bar Harbor on your itinerary. Acadia National Park is a place I've wanted to go for some time. The pics look fantastic! And what a good time of the year to go there - the colors are gorgeous!
